Welcome to the Mentor Training Program supporting the 2022 Graduate Nurse Transition to Practice Program. We are delighted to have you in the workshop and are excited that you have accepted the opportunity to support the new graduates in your workplace.
The Graduate Nurse Mentoring Program consists of 12 months mentoring in the workplace, and will support you to identify, understand and apply effective tools for mentoring; understand the importance of effective feedback in the program; and to develop confidence in your ability to mentor graduate nurses.
The program includes weekly professional development sessions, ACSA Registered Nurse facilitated sessions, Community of Practice forums, as well as online resources and tools to support Mentors in their roles.
